Some belts look good on day one. This one looks better on day one thousand.

Most belts under £50 aren't really leather. They're offcuts ground into pulp, bonded with glue and stamped with a grain pattern. The glue gives out around month fourteen. That's the crack.

This is full-grain hide, vegetable-tanned over weeks and hand-stitched, with wax worked deep into the fibres. Scratch it and the mark shows. Rub it with your thumb and it closes. Nothing to separate, nothing to crack — it just darkens into a patina that becomes yours.

Finding your size

Measure a belt you already wear — from the far end of the buckle to the hole you actually use. That number in inches is your size.

Don't use your trouser or jeans size. They vary by manufacturer and have never matched belt sizing.

Not sure? Message us the measurement and we'll pick it for you.

The 10-Year Promise

If it cracks, splits, delaminates, the stitching fails or the buckle fails within ten years, we replace it free. No receipt needed.

Normal patina, scratches and accidental damage aren't covered — those aren't failures, they're use.

Wrong size — we send the right one and pay postage both ways. Thirty days to wear it properly; not convinced, full refund in whatever state it's in.

Free UK delivery. Dispatched within 12 hours.

  • Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather — never bonded, never corrected
  • Solid brass hardware — will never peel, tarnish, or corrode
  • Hand-stitched with waxed linen thread — stronger than machine stitching
  • Natural edge paint applied by hand, bevelled and burnished
  • No bonded leather, no PU coating, no chrome-plated zinc

Full-grain leather is low maintenance. The more you use it, the better it looks.

  • Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth
  • Apply leather conditioner every 3–6 months to keep it supple
  • Store away from direct sunlight and excessive heat
  • If it gets wet, let it dry naturally — never use a hairdryer
  • Light scratches blend naturally into the patina with wear

Ages Beautifully
Full-grain leather doesn't wear out it wears in. Richer, darker, more personal with every year.

Questions

£69 for a belt — why?

Because the alternative costs more. A £25 belt lasts around fourteen months before the glue in it lets go. Over ten years that is roughly eight belts, £200, and eight trips to go and buy one.

This is one purchase, and it looks better at year five than it did on day one.

What size do I order?

Measure a belt you already wear — from the far end of the buckle to the hole you actually use. That measurement in inches is your size.

Do not use your trouser size. Trouser and belt sizing have not matched since the 1970s, and they vary between manufacturers anyway.

Unsure? Send us the measurement and we will pick it for you.

What does the 10-year guarantee cover?

Cracking, splitting, delamination, stitching failure and buckle failure. If any of those happen, we replace it.

Not covered: patina, scratches, accidental damage, or a change in your waist size. Those are not failures — they are use.

Will the scratches ruin it?

No. On crazy horse leather the marks are the wax finish doing its job. Most rub out with your thumb. The ones that stay become the patina, which is rather the point.

How do I look after it?

Wipe it clean. Condition it twice a year if you remember. Do not soak it or dry it on a radiator. That is the whole routine.

How does 30% off a second item work?

Add any second piece and 30% comes off the lower-priced of the two, automatically at checkout. No code needed. It applies to that order only.
